Sala Abdalla BSc MBBS FRCS (Gen Surg)

Sala Abdalla is a UK-based General Surgeon with an interest in upper gastro-intestinal and emergency surgery and she is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. She is passionate about global surgery and has previously worked as a volunteer Surgeon on a Humanitarian mission to Ghana with Operation Hernia in 2017. She is group lead for Operation International team UK 2019. Sala is a trustee and chairperson of Operation International UK and a member of the board of directors of Operation International limited.

Jennifer Watt PhD MBChB DFFP MRCS

Jennifer Watt is a UK-based General Surgeon with an interest in Colorectal and Trauma Surgery. She has a Diploma in Medical Care of catastrophes. She is currently working towards a Diploma in Medical Care of Catastrophes. Throughout her medical career she has worked with the ‘Project for Sustainable Development’ in Nepal providing medical support to them for charitable humanitarian projects in rural Nepal. She has also provided medical support for several trekking expeditions around the world.

Samantha Matin has prior experience in health care management and brings this expertise to the planning, logistics and fundraising aspects of Operation International UK.
