Team Hong Kong was founded in 2018 by Dr. Noel Chan, an ophthalmologist from Hong Kong, and Dr. Dilip Madnani, a plastic surgeon form New York. For their maiden mission, Team Hong Kong traveled to Myanmar in February 2019.
The members, routinely perform ophthalmological surgery, oculoplastic surgery, and fascial reconstructive surgery. In their first mission the team restored eyesight to over 200 patients, corrected congenital facial deformities to 14 patients and performed many other complex reconstructive operations.
