Team Surgical Relief was established in late 2017. The team’s trip chief is Dr. Sanjay Lalla. The team’s first mission took place on May 31, 2018 to Rakai Uganda. The team is made up of one general surgeon, one Head & Neck surgeon, two plastic surgeons, anaesthesia staff, operating room staff, and recovery room staff.
