sala abdalla

Sala Abdalla BSc MBBS FRCS (Gen Surg) is a UK-based General Surgeon and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. She is passionate about global surgery and has previously worked as a volunteer Surgeon on a Humanitarian mission to Ghana with Operation Hernia in 2017. She has been invited back to lead an Operation Hernia team in 2020. She is group lead for Operation International team UK 2019.

georgina hicks

Georgina Hicks BSc MBBS MRCS is a UK-based General Surgeon. This is her second trip with Operation International. She has an interest in global surgery, in particular remote surgery, access to care and fistulas. She is undertaking a Diploma in global health and humanitarian

Jennifer watt

Jennifer Watt PhD MBChB DFFP MRCS is a UK-based General Surgeon with an interest in Colorectal and Trauma Surgery. She is currently working towards a Diploma in Medical Care of Catastrophes. Throughout her medical career she has worked with the ‘Project for Sustainable Development’ in Nepal providing medical support to them for charitable humanitarian projects in rural Nepal. She has also provided medical support for several trekking expeditions around the world.

Joseph Lewis

Joseph Lewis is completing his surgical residency training at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital in New York. He plans on completing a fellowship in Surgical Critical Care, Acute Care Surgery, and Trauma Surgery in 2020.

Suli Henderson is a theatre nurse and qualified midwife . She has vast experience in General Surgery, Urology, Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Paediatric, Ophthalmic and ENT surgery

Yasmeen Boulware is a Staff Nurse at Kaiser Permanente, Oakland, California. She specializes in Med-Surg/oncology and is a Daisy nurse award finalist

Stacy Reed has worked as a surgical tech for 16 years and has vast experience in most surgical specialties. She is also a certified surgical assistant. This is her second mission with Operation International.

lisa naz

Lisa Naz is a Certified Operating Room Nurse from Detroit, Michigan. She first joined Operation International Team Michigan for their 2017 mission trip to Ghana and describes it as a life-and-career-changing experience. This will be her second mission with Operation International.

jennifer gray

Jennifer Gray RN, BSN is currently a circulating nurse within the cardiovascular operating room at a Level 2 Trauma center in Troy, Michigan. She has 13 years OR experience in all major service lines and formerly worked as an RN in the Neonatal ICU in Royal Oak, Michigan.

Amanda Hone is an operating room nurse at Aultman Hospital in Canton, Ohio. She works in all service lines including trauma and orthopaedics. This is her first mission with Operation International.

Eugina Jeong is a board certified Registered Nurse in ICU/CCU. She received her ADN in Mount St. Mary's University and her BSN from Grand Canyon University, and has been a Nurse at Kaiser Permanente in West Los Angeles since 2014.

Joyce nkrumah

Joyce Nkrumah is a certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist at Inova Fairoaks Hospital, Virginia. She graduated from Georgetown University in Washington DC in 2014. This is her first mission with Operation International.

craig mastracci

Craig Mastracci MD has worked as an Anaesthetist at for 20 years at Children's Hospital of Michigan in Detroit. He received his MD from Oakland University, Rochester, Michigan and Master of Science in Anaesthesia from the University of Detroit Mercy. He has also served in the United States Army for 18 years with multiple overseas deployments.

Clare Ramsaran has worked in communications for a number of years across a variety of organisations and government departments. She currently works for a water company in the UK, making short films and other digital content for use on the website and social media channels
